Terms of Service
Last revised: July 5, 2026draft — not legal advice
01General Provisions
These Terms govern the use of the VireMusic platform (the “Service”), built for publishing and streaming independent music by artists from the CIS.
By using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.
02Content Rights
An artist who publishes tracks and releases on VireMusic retains all exclusive rights to their work.
By uploading content, the artist grants VireMusic a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to reproduce, transmit, and display that content as part of operating the Service (streaming for registered users, display of metadata and cover art).
VireMusic does not claim ownership of, or co-authorship in, artists' content.
03Publishing Rules (User-Generated Content)
By publishing content on the platform, the user guarantees that:
- they hold all rights necessary for the content being published;
- the content does not infringe the copyright of third parties;
- the content does not contain material prohibited under applicable law;
- the content is not spam, fraud, or misleading material.
VireMusic reserves the right to remove content that violates these rules, or to suspend account access, without prior notice.
04User Account
Access to some features requires an account — created via Yandex (OAuth) or by email (password or magic link).
You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for all actions taken under your account.
To protect against password guessing, the Service limits the number of login attempts from a single IP address per unit of time.
05Streaming and Downloads
Registered users can stream published tracks via HLS streaming.
Downloading tracks in FLAC format is available only after purchase from the artist (this feature is under development and is not currently offered on public pages).
Extracting, copying, or distributing audio material outside the Service without the rights holder's permission is prohibited.
06Release Presave
For announced releases, a presave is available — you mark your intent to listen to the release before it comes out. Registered users only need to click the button; guests must provide an email address.
On the release day, it is automatically added to your likes, and a notification is sent to the email address you provided.
07Playlists and Likes
Registered users can create playlists, add tracks to them, and like tracks and playlists (including public playlists created by other users). A playlist can be private or accessible via a link.
08Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is.” VireMusic makes no guarantee of uninterrupted operation and is not liable for any indirect damages arising from use of the Service.
09Changes to These Terms
VireMusic reserves the right to amend these Terms. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of them.
